Tibia idle and OTServ with auto hunt: what is it and where to play

IdleServList Team · reviewed on 2026-10-11

Tibia idle brings together browser games and OTServ servers inspired by Tibia where the character hunts by themselves — the famous auto hunt —, even offline. It is the most traditional style in the Brazilian idle scene.

Remember the bot era?

Anyone who played Tibia in the 2000s remembers: you turned on a bot — MageBot, WindBot, iBot, ElfBot, and many others —, left your character hunting, went to work or study, and upon returning, rushed to see what had dropped, how many levels you had gained, and how much gold you had gathered.

Tibia idle is that exact same feeling, only without the risk of banning: auto hunt is part of the game, not cheating. It's ideal for those with little time — you set up your strategy in a few minutes, let it hunt, and come back later to sell the loot, improve your gear, and choose the next hunt.

How auto hunt works

You choose the hunt, configure your character (equipment, spells, potions), and they start hunting automatically: attacking, healing, and collecting loot. When you return, you sell the items, upgrade your equipment, and choose a stronger hunt.

Frequently asked questions

Is auto hunt allowed?

On idle servers and games, yes: it is the game's premise. On official Tibia, bots are forbidden.

Is Tibia idle the same as using a bot in Tibia?

The feeling is similar — leaving your character to hunt and coming back to check the loot and levels —, but in idle games, auto hunt is built into the game itself, so there is no risk of a ban.

Do I need to download anything to play Tibia idle?

Browser ones, no. OT servers use a client, usually indicated on the server's own website.
