How IdleServList works

The site is 100% automatic. Nobody has to register anything: a bot finds, analyzes and monitors the games on its own.

1. Discovery

Every day the bot looks for new idle games in search engines, public server lists and communities.

2. Analysis

It visits the official site, confirms with AI that it's an idle game, and identifies the category, language and Discord.

3. Monitoring

Every ~10 minutes it checks whether the site is up. OT servers have players read straight from the server.

4. Ranking

"Trending" combines players, Discord online, uptime, growth and votes — nobody pays to rank higher.

Where do the numbers come from?

In game: read from the OT server protocol or the public counter on the official site.
Discord online: members online on the Discord server linked on the site.
Uptime: share of checks over the last 7 days in which the site responded.
